Dave Bruzza Unsafe At Any Speed (Greensky Bluegrass) – Spring Tour 2026 with Wilson Thicket

Dave Bruzza, guitarist and co-founder of acclaimed progressive bluegrass outfit Greensky Bluegrass, has announced a run of Midwest and Canadian tour dates under his project Dave Bruzza – Unsafe At Any Speed. The four-city tour kicks off April 29, 2026 in Chicago and wraps May 2, 2026 in Toronto.

Unsafe At Any Speed offers Bruzza a wide-open creative lane — blending roots rock n roll, surf, originals that only live with this band as well as new interpretations of his work from the Greensky catalogue, improvisation, and electric textures that give him the opportunity to push boundaries. Known for his expressive guitar work and genre-agnostic curiosity, Bruzza uses the project as a platform to experiment, collaborate, and push songs into unpredictable territory in more intimate club settings.

Joined by friends Dominic John Davis on bass, Mike Lynch on keys, Justin Mazer on guitar and Dusty Ray Simmons on drums make a solid band. The details and local support for each market will be announced soon.

Wilson Thicket has the acoustic soul of an Appalachian string band, but there is more to this Thicket than just a patch of bluegrass! Wilson Thicket combines a hand-picked group of the top singers, instrumentalists, and songwriters that Michigan has to offer, with decades of performing experience under their collective belts. Old school favorites, creative covers, and dynamic original songs are all delivered with strong doses of vocal harmony and creative instrumental mastery. This music has plenty of roots and lots of grass. There may be some thorns, but also some flowers. Welcome to the thicket!
