Kickstand Productions Presents: Red Vox feat. special guests Super Guitar Bros.

Sunday, July 26 - Doors 7pm - All Ages

New York based independent rock band Red Vox's music video for "Garbage Land" was recently ranked #54 in Rate Your Music's list of 100 Best Music Videos of 2024. In 2023, they released the second half of their 5th album "Visions and Afterthoughts," peaking at 3rd best-selling on Bandcamp. The first half, released in 2022, peaked at 2nd best-selling. Their 2018 single "Stranded" reached #35 in Rate Your Music's Top 100 Singles of 2018, and in the same year, their sophomore album "Another Light" reached #13 on Billboard's Heatseekers album chart. Their most popular song, "In The Garden," has over 6.5M Spotify streams, and they have 10 other songs at over 1M. In 2023, they garnered 9.1M Spotify streams. They've sold nearly 8k physical albums to date.

Their concert at Too Many Games 2024 saw the floor packed with 600 people, several hundred more having to be turned away. They trended on Twitter before, during, and after the show. Their fanbase is close-knit, dedicated, and ever-growing, with some traveling hundreds of miles to see the band's 4th performance. None of the members are strangers to the stage: lead guitarist and producer Joe, previously of Happy Anarchy, has 30 years of experience in performance and production, and the rest of the band has 20 years experience in performing each.

In a thrilling night at Super MAGfest 2025,the band took the stage to a crowd of nearly 1,500 enthusiastic fans, many of whom brought their 3DS consoles and Game Boy Cameras to capture the performance. Later, in June, the band played a 90 minutes of music from across their entire discography to a crowded show at White Eagle Hall in Jersey City.

Sonically, they never stay in one place for too long, shifting effortlessly from 90s grunge to 60s psychedelia to 80s synth-rock and back again. With polished modern production, it all comes together in a timeless, otherworldly sound. "Visions and Afterthoughts" is reminiscent of acts including Stone Temple Pilots, the Beatles, MGMT, and R.E.M., sometimes hitting all within the same song. Their latest singles: Remember, The New Flesh, A/V and Crony explore and add depth to their sound. Red Vox are a band that creates music that speaks to them on a deeper level but know how to have fun. They'd fit in with the Lemon Twigs as well as they would the Black Keys, Mac DeMarco, or Queens of the Stone Age - but have carved out a place completely theirs, leaving listeners on the edge of their seats until the next album sweeps them into the dreamy world of Red Vox once again.
