AXIS is Chicago's Premier Jimi Hendrix Tribute act.
AXIS was formed in 2004 by guitarist/vocalist Kelven Dyson because of his love for Hendrix's music.
AXIS celebrates 20 years of performing in 2024!!
AXIS has performed at some of the biggest festivals and venues in the Chicago land area including the House of Blues and has gone on the road taking their show to other cities to perform.
AXIS has even performed on WGN Channel 9 news in Chicago!
The current lineup for AXIS is as follows
Kelven Dyson (guitarist/vocals)
Kevin Wik (Percussion/Vocals)
Forrest "Scooga" Dunnorm (Bass/Vocals)
Original bassist for AXIS Mr. Nick Verbic sadly passed away in 2023 and is forever with us in spirit.
AXIS has an energetic and fun approach to performing the music of Jimi Hendrix. "We play the well known Hendrix songs but will throw in some deep cuts that those hardcore fans like to hear".
When you come to an AXIS performance we want you to walk away feeling that not only did you hear some great music but you felt it as well!
